It was announced September 1, 2010 that John Gavras, the retired Chief Executive Officer of the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council has accepted a position on the Sandlot, LLC Board of Directors. "I look forward to being a part of the advancement of Sandlot for the benefit of physicians and patients and am honored to accept this position," Gavras stated.
Sandlot, LLC offers SandlotConnect, Texas’ leading Health Information Exchange with over 1.5 million patient records and over 1,500 users who have been trained on the product. There are also over 350 physicians who contribute data through their interoperable Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System.
